UK deadlines

The collaborative process is quite compressed. That is based on the final closing date of the UK Local E-democracy National Project on March 1, 2005.
This means that we have only a few weeks to draft then finalize 8 full case studies and 15 briefs.
Pending Approval
By Friday, January 7
- First 8 priority briefs completed in draft form, including reviews of real-world examples
- At least 5 Case Studies assigned and agreed to for BP Honorariums.
By Friday, January 14
- Additional Case Studies assigned and agreed to for honorariums
By Friday, January 21
- Final edits to priority briefs, content submitted to UK best practice leads (RSE Consulting) for review
- Telephone or in-person case study interviews completed, follow-up via e-mail encouraged
By Friday, January 28
- Initial 5 case studies submitted in final draft format during week, suggested supporting documents and multimedia options due later
- First 2 (2/8) case studies edited by Steven Clift for submission to UK for review and feedback by January 28
By Friday, February 4
- Feedback from UK by end of week
- Second group of case studies due in final draft format
- Next 2 (4/8) case studies edited by Steven Clift for submission to UK for review and feedback by February 4
By Friday, February 11
- Feedback from UK on second group of case studies by end of week
- All supplementary related documents and optional multimedia material submitted for all case studies
- Next 2 (6/8) case studies edited by Steven Clift for submission to UK for review and feedback by February 11
By Friday, February 18
- Second set of 7 priority briefs completed in draft form, including reviews of real-world examples
- Feedback from UK on third group of case studies by end of week
- Final 2 (8/8) of the required 8 case studies edited by Steven Clift for submission to UK for review and feedback by February 18
By Friday, February 25
- Feedback from UK on fourth group of case studies by end of week
- Supplementary related documents and multimedia material submitted to UK for attachment to all case studies (at least three of the case studies require multimedia additions (video, audio, etc.)
- UK requested edits on 6 of 8 case studies completed
By Tuesday, February 28
- Final 2 UK requested edits submitted on case studies
- Official pilot project close
Mid-March and later
- International case studies and briefs appear on:
- Draft required to stay on DoWire.Org wiki for at least one year and may be updated.
- Voluntary work on a broader Democracies Online Best Practices Guide by best practices team can begin in earnest
