Another participant remarked:

E-petitions would be a very good one to tackle, from the angle of what needs to be done from the parliamentary procedure side, to allow individual e-petitions be adopted in the various legislatures around the democratic world. Now this is not the case in many areas.

And some questions arose:

1. integrating paper and electronic versions of a given petition
2. validating signatures and constituencies
3. aspect of notification sytem? what interaction between these?
4. is signing a petition a way of signalling interest in an event?
5. is signing a petition a way of signalling values, biases, alignment?
6. should there be any way or means of tracking who signed what petition?
